You’re almost done! We just need to complete a few more tasks and your funnel will be ready to showcase to the world! Below, you’ll find video and written tutorials to do the following…
For this, you have several options:
Option 1: Point your actual domain name to ClickFunnels
Option 2: Create a CNAME & point it to ClickFunnels
Option 3: Don’t have a domain name? Create one with ClickFunnels
Let’s dive into each one to figure out which path is best for you!
Option 1: Point your actual domain name to ClickFunnels
This option is only for those of you that don’t already have your website up and running somewhere else, such as on WordPress, SquareSpace, Wix, etc. You’ll need to go to wherever you bought your domain name from (i.e. GoDaddy, CloudFlare, etc.), and point that URL to ClickFunnels by modifying the DNS settings.

Note: If you have a WordPress site, there’s an awesome plugin between WordPress and ClickFunnels that eliminates this finishing touch altogether because you can just use your current domain name that’s linked to WordPress. Click here to watch a quick tutorial on that.
Option 2: Create a CNAME & point it to ClickFunnels
This option will be the most common for all of you that already have a website up somewhere (i.e. WordPress, SquareSpace, etc.). First, let’s understand what a CNAME is…
You know how websites have “www” before the actual website name?
That “www” is a CNAME. So in this case, we’re going to use the same domain name that you have, but we’re going to create a different CNAME, such as…
go.yourwebsite.com
learn.yourwebsite.com
coach.yourwebsite.com
You can make your CNAME whatever you want, but a pro tip would be to keep it short and concise (i.e. go, learn, etc.).
When it comes to actually creating your CNAME, you’ll need to do a quick Google search on how to create a CNAME on your registrar (i.e. GoDaddy, CloudFlare, etc.). Once you create it, ClickFunnels shows you how to point it to the platform:

Option 3: Don’t have a domain name? Create one with ClickFunnels
If you don’t already have a domain name and you’re not planning on building out a site outside of ClickFunnels (we’ll be adding ClickFunnels website templates for Pro/Lifetime users), then you can simply purchase a domain name through ClickFunnels and connect that to your account.
Conclusion: This is a ONE-TIME task that you’ll have to do so the platform has your domain name (or CNAME) on it, then you’ll never have to do this task again!

Adding your brand’s favicon to your funnel masks the ClickFunnels favicon from showing up in the browser’s tab when someone visits your funnel. This makes your funnel look more professional. Please watch the short tutorial and if you don’t have a favicon handy, here’s a link of service providers that can make yours (starting at $5):
